TRAVELING INTERSTATE 80 / BORING, BUT.........

Not much to see from I-80, traveling 75 m/hr, but one notice that Illinois and Iowa grows corn.  Lots and lots of corn,  They both state have lots and lots of wind farms, they are called.  Hundreds of them.  I read they produce 10% of the electricity in these states.  This photo explains it all.

The rest areas in Iowa are better than nice.  They are educational, very well taken care of.  they are the cleanest neatest rest areas of any state that I have traveled  This rest area had this blade of the turbine displayed.  It stands 400feet tall,

 Here is one of the corn fields.  They thousands of acres of corn and soy beans.
